The town hall of Premià de Dalt devised a strategy of renovation and increase of the sports area of the town to guarantee the best possible experience for athletes.

The town hall of Premià de Dalt changes the artificial turf of the two fields of the sports facilities of the town, in which the «International Carnival Cup» is disputed, for a last generation, we can enjoy it from this edition. The facilities that during the regular season are the headquarters of the matches and training of the town team, the CE Premià de Dalt, are undergoing a renovation to improve the sports experience in this space.

This process is part of the town hall project, to promote grassroots sports and education in values. In this way, we seek to turn sport into the engine of economic and social growth of the people with an international projection where our tournament plays a fundamental role. The first part of the project, the change of the turf of the two fields by one of last generation, is already finished. The next steps are the creation of an annex field where school matches can be carried out and the implementation, within the sports complex of football, of training classrooms for athletes.

As explained by the mayor of the town, José Triadó, “we want the sports park to accommodate the entire population and make it a reference health, leisure and sport center that promotes generational exchange, among others.” This investment in the sports facilities of Premià de Dalt, take the “International Carnival Cup” to a higher dimension. It causes the tournament to go one step further, in terms of quality.
