Zero Tolerance for Racism
In light of the regrettable events that occurred this afternoon during a match, the International Carnaval Cup organization would like to make the following clear:
- We categorically reject any form of racism, discrimination, or violence at our events. Such behavior has no place in football or within our community. We are committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all players, fans, and members of our organization.
- We are currently conducting a thorough investigation to identify those responsible for these actions. We will take all necessary steps to ensure that the individuals involved in this behavior will not be allowed to attend the tournament again.
- Tomorrow, before the matches, an announcement will be made over the public address system to reiterate the organization’s commitment to the fight against racism and the promotion of tolerance. Additionally, we will strengthen security and control measures at the stadiums to prevent such incidents from occurring again.
At the International Carnaval Cup, we are committed to respect and coexistence, and we will not allow racism or any form of discrimination to tarnish the spirit of the sport.
