The 12th edition of the International Carnaval Cup will take place from February 12 to 15 and will bring together 68 teams (52 U13 and 16 U15), with more than 1,200 young footballers from all over the world
Less than three weeks remain until the ball starts rolling in one of the best tournaments in Spain. The youth competition, held in Premià de Dalt, Cabrils and, as a major new addition this year, Vilassar de Mar, arrives with a truly top-class lineup.
The sporting level is once again extremely high. This edition will feature top-tier clubs such as FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, RCD Espanyol, Girona FC, Real Sociedad, Sevilla FC, Valencia CF and Real Betis. The tournament’s international character is once again evident with the presence of clubs such as Sporting Club of Portugal, FC Porto, Iniesta Academy and Lonestar Soccer Club, among others.
At a national and regional level, teams such as CF Premià de Dalt, CE Sabadell and Gimnàstic de Tarragona will also be represented, strengthening the diversity and educational value of the competition.
In total, 1,200 young players from all over the world will take part in a tournament where emerging talents can showcase themselves in a family-friendly environment. As an organizational novelty, the tournament will officially kick off on Thursday, although matches will be played on the 15th, ensuring it does not interfere with school schedules. A format designed to guarantee the best possible development and overall quality of the tournament.
12 editions without losing its essence
The 2025 International Carnaval Cup was a resounding success, and this year the goal is to preserve its essence. The tournament promises top-level grassroots football, cultural exchange, and an experience that goes far beyond the final result.
