CF Badalona were crowned champions of the Silver Phase, while Manresa secured the Bronze Phase title after a very solid run in their respective brackets

The International Carnaval Cup once again showcased a high-level competitive structure, featuring an initial league phase in a Champions League-style format that determined the path of all teams into the Gold, Silver and Bronze brackets. In the Silver Phase final, played at the Camp Municipal de Cabrils, the ‘escapulats’ defeated CE Sabadell 0-2 thanks to goals from Anas Hdda Kadir and Martí Ortega. The team coached by Marc Morales displayed competitive maturity, balance between lines and great efficiency in key moments of the match.

CE Sabadell, managed by Alex Pulido, reached the final after a highly meritorious journey in the Silver bracket. The arlequinado side eliminated Virginia in the semifinals (0-3), beat Vic in the quarterfinals (0-1) and secured their place through a demanding penalty shootout against Shelbourne FC, showing character and consistency throughout the knockout stage.

Badalona, meanwhile, followed a clear upward trajectory within the bracket, knocking out Parets in the round of 16 (2-0), Amposta in the quarterfinals (2-0) and claiming one of the most notable wins of the phase by defeating Sporting de Lisboa 1-0 in the semifinals. A path that reflected their competitive growth as the tournament progressed.

In the initial league phase, where all teams compete in a single group before being split into brackets, Badalona finished 26th and Sabadell 34th. This ranking granted them access to the Silver Phase, where both sides raised their level and fought for the bracket title.

Excitement lasted until the very end in the Bronze Phase

At the same time, the Bronze Phase had its own champion: Manresa, who defeated Tortosa Ebre 1-0 in the final thanks to a decisive goal by Mohamed Amin. The Bronze bracket represents a fully competitive pathway within the tournament, with its own identity and level of demand.

Manresa, coached by Marc Morales, faced a challenging route. They reached the Bronze final after eliminating Clio Junior Selection in the semifinals (2-0) and overcoming Vilassar de Dalt in the quarterfinals via an intense penalty shootout (4-5). Tortosa Ebre, led by Lluís Accensi, reached the final match after beating Vilassar de Mar (0-3) and Tec Academy (3-1).

In the league phase, Manresa and Tortosa finished in 46th and 48th place respectively, which placed them in the Bronze bracket within the tournament’s competitive system.

A tournament full of possibilities

This format, based on progressive performance from the initial league phase, defines the International Carnaval Cup as a formative and structurally demanding tournament, where each phase (Gold, Silver and Bronze) holds real competitive value and its own independent journey.
