The youth tournament, held in Premià de Dalt and Cabrils, returns with a lineup featuring some of the best teams in the world.

The ball is rolling in a new edition of the International Carnaval Cup. Once again, the demand for spots has increased thanks to the success of the crowd turnout achieved by the tournament’s organization and the collaboration of the participating teams. The impact of our competition continues to rise, both nationally and internationally. As the editions go by, more teams from outside our borders are showing interest in attending the International Carnaval Cup. The tournament, which will again take place at the sports facilities in Premià de Dalt and Cabrils, will have 39 spots.

This year, the tournament will once again host some of the best teams, not only from the country but from around the world. The appeal to participate continues to grow, as evidenced by the return of teams like RCD Espanyol, who have never missed an edition since the tournament was founded in 2012, and FC Barcelona, a club that has won the championship trophy in five editions of the International Carnaval Cup. Additionally, the tournament knows no boundaries, nor oceans. International teams like Genk, Carolina Elite Soccer Academy, Kafuringa, IMG Academy, FC Lahti, Shelbourne FC, Malva, Virginia United FC, Lonestar, and Oxford United will once again enjoy this competition.

A Tournament on the Rise

The first edition had only 8 teams. The following edition allowed us to increase the number of participating teams by four. For the next two editions, the third and fourth, we again managed to increase the number of spots by 4, bringing the total to 16. For the fifth edition, the tournament experienced a significant increase in spots, going from 16 to 28, thanks to a change in facilities, leading to the tournament as we know it today. Having the venue in Premià de Dalt allows us to continue increasing the excitement, fun, diversity, and participation. This year, 39 teams will be able to enjoy all of this, and we hope to continue growing.
